Endurance Riding Saddles - Leather Or Cordura?

!: Endurance Riding Saddles - Leather Or Cordura?

Having the right covering on your motorcycle seat is so important not only for comfort but you need a flexible chance to change your position without any restrictions. Buffalo leather is a good choice especially for durability and enhancing deep colors as it ages, so for your motorcycle luggage, vests, and backpacks a great choice.

Some riders have tried corduroy but I believe you will find that quite restrictive when riding any distance. I know I like to kind of change my body position every once in awhile, because if riding a long distance the last thing you want is an uncomfortable derriere, it certainly will ruin your travel as the last thing you want is the feel tip of a flag pole figuring in the picture where it's not wanted.

You have several choices which are available besides Buffalo hide. You could use snake skin for something different and yes alligator, goat, deer, so your choices are wide and variable but check them out as the main thing you want is to be comfortable and a seat cover to be long lasting especially if you find one that really fits your long riding.

Leather is really not meant to get wet so it's always a good idea to wear proper rain gear when riding your motorcycle in wet weather. If your seat gets wet let it dry out and than apply some good leather oil to bring it back to life, actually a rest for your saddle is good like a good treatment of dlc and let it rest until the next ride.
